crabs and her

we went crabbing last saturday. we always go crabbing but we never caught anything until last saturday.

it was declared open season anyway that’s why we went.

it was a great experience, i sat on the boat and did nothing not purpose..
i wore the wrong shoes you see and there are mud everywhere. every time i walk into it, it just eats my slippers and i can feel the whole mud and it’s not that pleasant.. plus, it’s women’s day you know.. don’t have to go into details..

so i stayed on the boat with another girl while the guys went and get us some dinner. :)

an hour and half later, they came back with 11 crabs and a claim that they spotted heaps and heaps of them.. too bad they were a bit feisty and tried to snip snip them and plus it’s getting really cold.. but hey 11 crabs!

then we cooked it the next day and it was the yummiest crabs i’ve had in ages. i love crabs..

my mum used to cook crabs on my birthday or if i did something good. it was my reward food and it’s one of her signature food as well

and i always loved it when she cooks them because she picks the fattest crabs! no wonder i was a bit curvy when i was younger.

when she came here over 2 years ago, she cooked crabs as a welcome for momo and a reward for me for graduating.

i remember she was really amazed with momo becuase he was using his hands to eat the crabs and he was giving me crab meat. something she does with my dad..

she even said “i think i will like this guy”
i just smiled and in the end, she loved him..

after eating the crab we caught last saturday, momo dreamt of her and the crabs she cooked for us. he dreamed of her cooking crabs again and feeding us and having all this food feast.

we trully miss her.
