heat streak

well, Perth has been blessed with warm weather lately.
It’s summer so can’t really complain.. but the long weekend that we had was just scorching!

we reached 40C last friday so that’s 104F
no sea breeze whatsoever.. and it’s Humid. just imagine my hair!

stayed humid until today and temperature didn’t drop from 30C or 95F

the breeze is extremely hot.. imagine opening your oven, the air that comes out and hits your face, that’s how it feels.

when i left the house i have to pinch myself and ask if i am in Philippines. So humid and hot and muggy.. yikes!

at work, i was expecting to be more pleasant..a bit cooler  but since we had long weekend and aircon wasn’t on during that time.. the building stored all that heat and humidity and now the air con is having the hardest time to cool the entire building.
i am sweating inside the office!

i used to like this weather but it’s becoming too hot.

i think we should really think of the whole Global warming issue and start doing our part.

we have to think of our future children who will be enduring this whole weather extremes!

honestly, it’s a scary thought.. just think of water..
or bush fires or skin cancer..
