happy birthday to my mum

it’s her birthday! tradition… i sms her at exactly 12midnight.

so what does she do on her birthday? she gets dressed… the best dress of course. puts on her make up, jewelry and perfume and i almost forgot.. THE shoes..

you see mum has a lot of shoes (thanks to auntie nene)… high heels, flats, slip on… name it she has it.. that will be the highlight of the day.. the shoes..

i dreamt of her last night.. maybe i keep on thinking about her before i doze off.. the dream was cute and very interesting..

then i woke up with a song stuck in my head. “You needed me”.. this is my mum’s favourite song. well, one of them..

the song keeps playing on my head and to think that i haven’t heard this song since i don’t know when. not even in my dreams.. but it is stuck in my head..

it could be mum singing to me.. trying to tell me.. “it’s my birthday”

i know it’s your birthday and we’re gonna party like it’s your birthday
